The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and we were pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The location was fantastic, being right at the subway station for two city subway lines. We were also very close to the UNESCO certified Nijo-jo castle, which was a definite highlight of our trip.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Kyoto. The rooms were spacious, much larger than what I usually find in Tokyo. The onsen on the first floor was a pleasant surprise and a great way to relax after a long day of exploring. The location was fantastic, being very close to Nijo-jo castle and just a short walk from a subway station.

The hotel could improve the wifi connection, especially when there are multiple guests trying to connect.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Hotel Chatelet Inn. The location was ideal, with Nijo castle nearby and easy access to the downtown area. Even though our room was small, it was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel.
